Democrats worshipped at the altar of science, asking for a sign the world was safe again. But when the CDC issued its fact-driven commandment, “Thou Shalt Not Wear Masks,” liberals cried out, “Oh Dr. Fauci, why have you forsaken us!”
In all seriousness, liberal snowflakes have become so addicted to their masks, returning to normal represents an unthinkable heresy. That may sound like fake news to people who use reason and logic to make informed decisions. However, recent events in Washington, D.C., and other liberal strongholds indicate Democrats do not want anyone running around mask-less.
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention issued guidelines relaxing the use of masks for fully vaccinated individuals. Until Joe Biden’s handlers force the CDC to remove them, they read as follows: “You can gather indoors with fully vaccinated people without wearing a mask or staying 6 feet apart.”
With more than 150 million people receiving at least one shot, thanks to former President Donald Trump’s leadership with Operation Warp Speed, it was appropriate for even Democrats to end mask mandates. That’s precisely what Washington, D.C., Mayor Muriel Bowser did by ending the restriction on vaccinated people. On April 30, 2021, Mayor Bowser’s office forwarded, verbatim, the CDC guidance allowing vaccinated people to effectively return to normal.
But those heretic scientists behind the unholy CDC text conflicted with left-wing mask addiction. The Swamp’s mayor was besieged by mask cultists and was coerced to force heretics to cover themselves in public. Even though it ran contrary to the Democrat’s science deity, she revered her decision in less than 24 hours.
“Fully vaccinated persons may visit with a small group of fully vaccinated persons indoors in a private setting without wearing a mask under the conditions specified in DC Health guidance,” her May 1 order states with no mention of vaccinated people being allowed to not wear masks in places like restaurants.
Wide speculation ensued — without using terms such as “liberal idiots” — about why this Faucian mask fetish overwhelmed reason, logic, and commonsense.
“It could also be knee-jerk. If (Trump) said, ‘Keep schools open,’ then, well, we’re going to do everything in our power to keep schools closed. We went the other way, in an extreme way, against Trump’s politicization,” Emma Green reportedly wrote in the radical left-wing publication The Atlantic. “Even as scientific knowledge of COVID-19 has increased, some progressives have continued to embrace policies and behaviors that aren’t supported by evidence, such as banning access to playgrounds, closing beaches, and refusing to reopen schools for in-person learning.”
Green makes the case that far-left Democrats never cared about science in the first place. They’re addicted to masks as a type of symbol they oppose someone who isn’t even president any longer. Weird? Yes. It appears a permanent cure for Covid-19 and rare communicable disease will be discovered long before liberals recover from Trump Derangement Syndrome.
They will never recover from TDS. It is a mental disease and the infected victims will not take the therapeutics necessary for recovery. That being educate themselves to the facts and break free of the ill informed group thinkers.
